D-Rad is a German brand of motorcycle manufacturing. It is a subsidiary of Deutsche Werke AG. The D-Rad name comes from Deutsche and Motorrad (a motorcycle) words. The first motor bicycle was released in 1920. All equipment met the requirements of that time. It was well-constructed, durable and reliable technique. This explains its popularity and high demand on the market. In 1932, the company became a part of NSU concern. For some time, motorcycles were produced under the dual D-Rad-NSU symbol.
