Sachs Logo History

Sachs company is one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturers in the world. It is only a few years younger than the famous Harley-Davidson brand. The firm’s history began in 1886 when K. Mashutc founded a bicycle factory named Hercules-Werken. From the very beginning, only 8 employees worked there, but in 8 years this number rose to 170. The company produced ball bearings, bicycle parts, and motorcycle engines. Sachs Motorcycle Logo In 1903, Sachs launched production of the first motorcycles and bicycles with a motor. In the 1930s, K. Mashutc started cooperation with Fichtel-Sachs concern and decided to join it. 1995 was a really remarkable year in the history of the firm. It stopped bicycle production and focused on motorcycle production under the Sachs brand. In 2010, it became the leader in electric bike production. Nowadays, talented engineers work on new models of motorcycles and scooters. Sachs Logo Old Sachs Motor Logo
